Saturday 2 September: on the final weekend of league fixtures, the 1st XI secured victory at home to champions Bath to secure their WEPL Premier One status for 2018.  With victory at Beckington, the 2nd XI were crowned champions of Wiltshire County Cricket League Division 2.  Having already secured their Division 3 status, the 3rd XI finished their season with defeat at home to Goatacre 2nd XI.  The 4th XI ended their campaign with a close victory against Bradford-on-Avon 2nd XI.  Congratulations go to the day's two centurions; Neil Clark with 110* for the 1st XI, and especially to Liam Cutler for his 101* for the 4th XI; his maiden century.  Congratulations to all players who have represented any of the four sides over the last four months, on what has been yet another successful season for the club.

Friday 1 September: congratulations to the Under 15s, who were crowned Wiltshire Youth Cricket League Under 15 T20 league winners with victory at home to Warminster.

200 Club: the winners for August can be found on the 200 Club page of the website.

Saturday 26 August: just the one win from four games played.  The 1st XI had a much-needed victory at Corsham, but there were defeats for the 2nd XI at home to Hinton Charterhouse, the 3rd XI at White Horse and the 4th XI at home to Winsley 2nd XI.

Sunday 20 August: unfortunately the inclement weather meant that today's fixture against Lashings was abandoned at the tea interval, with Potterne having dismissed Lashings for 132.  Prior to the start of the game, lunch was enjoyed by 400 attendees in the marquee.  Thanks go to the countless volunteers who helped in the preparation of the event, as well as on the day.

Saturday 19 August: another mixed set of results today with victories for the 2nd XI at Bath Hospitals and the 3rd XI at Wroughton Wranglers.  Unfortunately there were defeats for the 1st XI at home to Frocester and the 4th XI at home to Erlestoke.  Special mention is reserved for Kimberley Sainsbury and her new husband Sam Donaghy, who were married today, with the reception taking place at The Grove.  Congratulations and best wishes from all at the club.

Congratulations go to Dean and Steven House for completing their cycle ride from Old Trafford to The Grove (via Lechlade) in aid of Julia's House Children's Hospice, a fantastic effort!
